Friday Five

Yo yo yo!!! It is a GORGEOUS day here. Such a shame I'm so tired. Maybe I'll take a nap in my lounge chair with the baby monitor in the back yard when the girls nap (I gotta enjoy some of the highs of being a SAHM, right?? My cup runeth over) in a while.

With that - here is the Friday Five rundown!!

1. The play date this morning kinda fizzled, which actually was ok with me. I'm so tired from this week. It seemed for our friendly guests that allergies, last minute house issues, and schedules got in the way for their families, so aside from a few people stopping off (they would stay for a quick visit , then leave for errands as my eldest daughter was at school, so there was no one for their child to play with) it was a quiet morning. Hubby is home from work today, so I got caught up on phone calls, and checking in as the "baby news e-list" e-mailer for the new parents at the hospital and e-mailing an update to their adoring fans lol.

2. Did I mention the weather? Incredible. We have no plans tonight (LOVE that feeling) so we'll just enjoy, maybe work on the veggie garden (just planted a tomato plant in the Topsy Turvey), eat dinner and REST from the week! Hopefully enjoying the sun too!

3. Tomorrow we're headed to a fair (we love those!), a Ren Fest! It's a drive, but worth it for some fun. Then in the later evening we have Supper Club again. I hope it is as fun as it was last time!!! We love the people assigned to the group this rotation!! Sunday we have mass, and then 2 kid b-day parties to attend on opposite sides of town....WHEW! We'll stay busy busy!!

4. I'm trying to savor as much time this week with my family. I feel like life is going by way too fast! I feel this way anytime a new baby enters my circle. In our mom's group we've had a year of babies, and they grow TOO fast. So, after this I'm going to do some cuddle time and relax with the family - just treasuring all the moments that go TOO fast. I need to remember laundry can wait...really. It can.

5. These two pics just make me smile or laugh. The first is one of Valiant's new baby tricks, using her core muscles to move around. The second one cracks me up. It's from the hospital, and it is me and the rest of the grandparents and family friend looking in the nursery. Our faces are so funny, yet so honest of the moment :)

God. IS. GOOD!

And with that, I'm off!
TGIF!!!
