1. I let go this week. Of my 5 year old....to Kindergarten!!!! Oh my soul!! I was both BURSTING with pride and excitement (Lovely's excitement was so palpable) and sorrow. This is my baby we are talking about here!!! I miss her already. We're hoping to homeschool next year, but I thought this would be a fun year for her, and I could be home some more with my baby and Godbaby and make plans for next year. She is loving it!! We walk to and from school, and I am beginning to treasure that time with her. I love the walking. She did tell me today that even though she loves school, she wants to learn with me soon (like her best friend will be doing) and I told her that would be great when she's done with this year, and she said "ok", and rattled off how much she loves her teacher, Ms. D the crossing guard, lunch, music, and math lol. I have a feeling she has some huge growth ahead for her!!! WOW! My baby is growing up. I love her Kindergarten program so far, and her teacher seems fantastic. It is very loving, and small, and I love it is nearby. Here are some pictures (and Video) from her 1st day:
Here is a video I took. Right as I started, she did something she and I had mentioned this weekend...but she MELTED my heart. I kissed her hand on Sunday and told her if she missed me at school to put her hand to her cheek, and I would be kissing her (I've now learned that is a story - "The Kissing Hand"). In the video she blows me a kiss, and then puts her hand on her cheek. If you notice, she starts to look in another direction. She sees a child crying. She gets up when she sees no one with them....and goes to them (clip ends before you see this, but I stuck my head in to see). She touched my heart. I love her!! (weeps...)
An incredible first day, and week!!! Letting go is hard, but the best part is when they come right back!! :)
2. I'm managing, and ENJOYING the time with my two babies...Valiant and Goddaughter E. She's such a love. I'm still managing to keep the house from being a total disaster for Lovely and Hubby when they get home too. I hope though to conquer the laundry today while the babes nap! Here is a video clip of Baby E and Lovely (post school) and how much she is loved. Here Lovely plays a lullaby for her when she sees E smiles when she sings or does some music:

3. I am on day 16 of the Active 30 Day Challenge, and have not missed a day yet!!! I love that I have not quit yet. It helps, though, it is different workout everyday. I have no excuse to claim boredom for not working out. Having rest days help as well! Cause yeah...I, uh...live for the days of rest!!! hehe!!
Whew! What a week! Feel like sharing yours?
Thankful Thursday
Today I am thankful for (in no random order)....
1. the air I breathe, the food I eat, liquids to drink, and a body that works so well.
2. naps.
3. things that remind me that I am beautiful, even when I don't believe it.
4. Smiles.
5. Hugs.
6. Laughter.
7. My husband.
8. My daughters.
9. That my God is there for me even when I am not there for Him.
10. My time with these two "Little Miracles" (see shirts) while my eldest is away learning....
