"Lovelyisms" again

So I have some more gems from Lovely. These come from her first week of Kindergarten!

When I pick Lovely up from school, they bring the walkers to the front office so we can walk home before carpool starts, etc. Her teacher and I get to talk some at this time. Mrs. S seems to love Lovely (YEAH!!) and says she's so funny and great to have in class. I'm really pleased they are off to a good start, cause I always over worry about Lovely, her happiness, behavior, acceptance, etc.

Mrs. S said that yesterday they were learning about punctuation, and all Lovely would do was exclamation points (!), and did them for every word. When asked why, Lovely said loudly:

"Because I'm SOOO EXCITED!!! My world is an exclamation!"

I love it!!

My parents stopped by, and while they were visiting, Lovely went upstairs and came down with a flag and a doll. She asked Pop (my dad) to play with her. He asked what they were going to play, and she said "The Pledge of Allegiance." She told Pop "ok, so you take your hand and put it over your heart and stand up...."

hehe - I guess I've never said the pledge around her, so this is new stuff for her LOL!

  2. So completely cute! I love Kindergardeners' truths! She's one of those children that teachers love to have in their classes and can't wait to have next year!
