Small Successes and Thankful Thursday

"It’s important to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that."

1. I have managed to keep the house CLEAN since getting the house "guest ready" (as if my family isn't worth it haha). It's been nice though feeling more on top of it. I have my good and bad weeks and this is one of those good weeks. I've even had a play date and it still looks good. I'm very excited!

2. I only have one more (big) load of laundry to fold. This is after having mountains and mountains of it. I got lax about doing a load a day so it crept up on me!

3. I have been working on crafts, and having Lovely work on crafts too. Hubby picked up more for me last night to do. They will be Teacher gifts and some family presents for events coming up. Having that done is a good feeling!!

Thankful Thursday
I am thankful that...

1. I had the opportunity to get out 2 nights this week with wonderful girlfriends. It was nice to stop, and get me out of the house and connect with other friends.

2. That S had a wonderful mother's day and love on her anniversary - awesome! That makes me smile. For many reasons - especially how deserved it was.

3. in a world where my own family has been touched with childhood cancer and lost, that T's niece has had one giant positive step in her battle and they got the tumor out of her brain completely!

4. that the weather the last two days (not today lol) has been so glorious we've spent most of it outside! Napping in the sun rocks!!! Family time is even better.

5. that this coming weekend will bring time with family and friends - a graduation party, a BBQ in our backyard, and a baptism. These moments are precious.
