Small Successes and Thankful Thursday!

Whew! Another week barely recording our lives here. I've still been under the weather and this was the area I had to cut back on. I miss writing though! I'll be back!

This little meme though helps me to record some things - so list away I shall (or try). I hope to be back writing and reading soon!!

FaithButton

1. As for making time for my family, and sorting things out - THIS is about all I could muster, but it helped me to think about my little girl and how precious she is and how PROUD I am of her. As I mom, I needed to be reminded to stop, reflect, and wonder.

2. Most of the house has ORDER today!! It may not be deep cleaned, but most rooms find themselves orderly!!!! YIPPEE!

3. I made it to Adoration twice in the last week after not being there in WAY too long (probably Lent). One of the times was with both girls, and I was astounded at how good and reflective Lovely was at 6 years old, and how quiet, relaxed, and watchful little "almost" 15 month old Valiant was as she balanced on the kneeler.

Bonus #4 - I did some laundry this week!!

Inspire me - what have you been up to?

Thankful Thursday
Today I'm most thankful for...

1. the flooding in my friends' homes was not much worse than an excuse for good cleansing and fix up. Everyone feels really blessed when compared to so many out there. Still, it is a stress and I'm praying for them in their personal cleanups with kids around, busy lives, etc. Somehow we didn't have any flooding, but many of my friends with kids did in their basements, roofs, chimneys....
2. the support of my family.
3. incredible friends.
4. Lovely's love of life and music.
5. cute, little ones.
6. the inspiration of others in my life.

Much love and Blessings!!!

  2. Wow! Congratulations! What a fantastic list. I should get to Adoration some time. I can't remember the last time I went. I always have a little one (or more) attached and I'm always afraid of how they will behave. Congrats and keep up the good work!

  3. My youngest daughter just turned 14 months and I cannot imagine taking her to Adoration. She can't even make it through mass without being on the move in the back. I'm so glad you had the chance to take the girls and actually adore!

    Be well soon!

  5. Great! I always feel better with an orderly house. The cleaning will get done - but orderlines takes the edge off for me.
