As part of Project 2996 - a online memorial to the victims of 9/11 - names are assigned to bloggers so they can be uttered once more. I just had Jon's name e-mailed to my inbox. I found only snippets of info on Google about him. I learned he was a loving family man, a board member of his son's baseball team (I get the feeling more than one son), caring boss, dedicated worker. He never made it out of the World Trade Center. Comments left on online tribute pages to him reveal word after word of appreciation, fun memories, his warm smile, and gestures to others.

Let's remember him, and so many others today - a life cut short - but one that had such a loving impact. God Bless you Jon L. Albert, and thank you for the legacy you left your loved ones. I'm sorry this is so short, compared to other names out there - but I know to your family and friends, you were larger than life.
