Small Successes and Thankful Thursday - "Little Things Count Big" Edition

FaithButton

It's been another great week!!!! I'm feeling on top of things again! That's good, because I'm about to have to let it all go for a FANTASTIC cause with the new baby any time now (but probably closer to May 11th - EDD). So excited!!

1. Ok, so I know I said this last week - but the weekend got me behind on laundry again, plus there were newborn things to specially wash. It's ALL done! All folded, and all put away. I'm trying to do one small load a day so if we go into labor, we don't come home to a mountain again. I hope I stick to the vow!

2. My bag is PACKED, and it is only 1 bag. The nice thing having done this a few times is I can streamline better! lol!!! Also, both girls are PACKED too. My parents want to keep them for our hospital stay, but I wanted to make sure their stuff was ORGANIZED to help my parents, or...if they need help and can't keep them - my sister or friends. You never know when illness crops up, even for caretakers! I packed enough for 3 days for each girl, knowing if we had a longer stay for a C-section, clothes can be washed. I put an outfit/PJ's/socks/undergarment/hair accessory (or a starter diaper) in a freezer baggie for each day - so all anyone has to do is open and give to Lovely or dress Valiant. Then each has one extra baggie with warmer clothes for a cool day, a sweater, bathingsuit, a certain school T-shirt for an activity etc. The bags also have spare toothbrushes, shoes, and allergy meds and fever reducers - just in case. Is there anything else I should make sure they have? It feels good to be ready to rush out now at a moment's notice. Whew!!

3. Now that the weather is warmer, I've resumed morning walks again - and the days we can meet - S and I are still working out. It feels good to walk again, in the morning coolness and birds chirping, with Val and let her enjoy some stroller time that doesn't include the quick walks to school, or corralling her for grocery shopping lol. Plus, the walking makes me feel healthy and stronger - and who doesn't love that! I love that coupled with working out with S too. I'll need it before my 6-8 weeks of rest!!

How was your week?
