Full and Heavy - and not just our weekend :)

LOL. I've been so busy today, and this week with little computer time, and our main PC is on the blink, so I have been remiss on recording our daily-isms. Thanks for all the sweet e-mails or words on what I have posted of late - especially when I haven't been able to check in. This weekend proves to be more of the same, full, and heavy with events - but I'm also, starting today really - in the afternoon - to feel full and heavy too - with BABY.

Mornings are good - lots of energy! I walk after morning drop off, and push the stroller a few miles back home for some exercise (vs just heading straight back a block). Then, I still feel up to working out with S (though this week has been hit or miss - my fault with out schedule). I'm good all morning and lunch, and then when it is time for afternoon pick up - that walk to get Lovely from school is intense! Even though the midwife said yesterday the head is down, but not all that low, TODAY I felt so full, heavy, and such pressure. Maybe it is the afternoon hour, so I'm more tired? Or, the fact that "Spring has Sprung" here and went straight into summer temps (what happened to cool spring???) and I'm super hot, but I'm feeling it. I'm running out of room at "this inn".

But, we have an exciting weekend planned. I'll quickly list as I'm running out of time and when Hubby gets home I need his help to pick up the house, and then head into a weekend that includes the following five:

1. Lots of events this weekend surrounding my 10 YEAR COLLEGE REUNION!!!
2. DATE TIME with my Hubby!
3. 1st B-day party for our goddaughter E!
4. My niece spending the night.
5. lots of playtime for the kids with friends!

In the middle of all that, I need to start hospital bag packing, organizing the girls' stuff for whomever has them lol, and more house cleaning. I just don't feel done or at peace yet there. UGH!

So with that...I'd better get my groove on. Much love, and I hope next week brings back some bloggity blog time. I love my "me" time here!

  1. We must be the same age or pretty close. I just got a letter in the mail from my Alma Mater that was going on about how it's been nearly 10 years since graduation. Of course, the letter wasn't about a reunion, it was asking for a donation.

I hope you're able to get some rest in the afternoons. I made it a point to nap between 2 and 4 in the afternoon when I was pregnant with both of my girls.

  3. Oh, my gosh. I can't believe how long it's been since I've done some blog reading! It seems like just last week that you posted the photos M.G. took.
