About the only 3 successes I can share this week after a blogging hiatus (and one that may continue with more limited computer access while our PC gets an overall) are of our precious growing baby boy. He is 36 weeks, 3 days along, and at the ultrasound we had today to check out my fluids and placenta levels (all good!) estimates he is 6 lbs, 5oz so far. He's head down too (stay that way little boy!) It is getting us soooooo excited that we are "FULL TERM" next week and the countdown begins. Will we go before 40 weeks? After? Only God knows!!
So...here are my "three" successes:
1. Our precious son's face - well, what we could capture - his nose, cheeks, and chin....He's so gorgeous - I'm NOT biased though...haha!

2. This one is hard to see, but it is the up/down view (his profile - looking to the left) with his lips and chin profile, and his arm in front of his face and his hand on his forehead.
3. The traditional profile shot but blurry, he's on his back, looking up. Still cute :)
Every additional week is a gift. All his movements are a gift. I don't think I'll completely feel the rush of joy until he is here safe and we're all ok and bonding. But, I am getting SO EXCITED to countdown!! He is so wanted, such a blessing, and very anticipated. Thanks for the continued prayers!! Here comes May 11th - give or take!
Thankful Thursday
This week I am MOST thankful for...
1. the growing son inside me!!

4. my husband being able to see the ultrasound today.
5. all the support from family and friends!
6. my family.
7. all God has blessed me with.
8. GOOD health.
9. Hubby's job.

I LOVE those u/s shots!! Continued prayers for you and your fam!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! He looks a lot like Val, IMO.
ReplyDeleteJust loving living vicariously through your pregnancy. Lots of hugs, love, and prayers!
That first shot is so cool! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great u/s pics. I can't believe you're almost at the end already.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! A little man after two girls is going to rock your world! in a good way though.
ReplyDeleteWonderful successes, and how wonderful of you to embrace all the little blessings of these last weeks.
ReplyDeleteYay for good fluid and happy baby & placenta!
Can't believe that you are about a month away from birth day (or that I'm nearly to the halfway point)!
It could be even quicker than you think! Jay came on his own at 37.5 weeks - which is Not At All Far From 36 Weeks. Just sayin' :)
ReplyDeleteLove you!!!
I think I just caught a glimpse of the future - the top shot makes me think of a kid with his mouth pressed up against the glass (door or window) making silly faces! (not that he's making a silly face in that pic)
