Oh Good Lord. I just saw the newest "Breaking News" on the earthquake (and TERRIBLE aftershocks) in Haiti. The images on the screen made me weep. I held Val and openly cried. It is like a whole country has been destroyed.
Hundreds of Thousands are feared dead.
Thousands orphaned.
Images of women and babies...sobbing, bleeding.
The Archbishop of Haiti feared dead.
No hospitals.
No airport.
People crying in the streets.
Common folk digging others out.
And yet...images of crying people also singing praises to Jesus and dancing in the street....how strong faith is where poverty abounds. It's like they know something the rest of us don't REALLY know. When you have little, you really have it all because you know Who has you.
My heart weeps, my eyes weep, and really...there are no words.
Pray for Haiti.

So true and well said. I have not seen the news. I never watch. I learn of everything on FB. But this is so sad.
