Isn't Val so cute? This is her new cheesy grin. You are one lucky duck if she flashes it at you!And below is Lovely today. She just looked so grown up before we walked to school this morning I had to grab a picture. It's a dreary rainy day and she just made it brighter!
And now...some REAL life pics (as if my bedroom pic from the other day, and above were not enough) Below are some wall hangings we put up a few months back...ok - the SUMMER. It was so nice to have some warm touches on the walls in various rooms, and I love taking pics so instead of art, we went with frames. I just want you to look closely at them:
Have you noticed something about them yet? HA!! Yes! Ding Ding Ding! They are either EMPTY of pics, OR have the sample pics in them (i.e. no one related to me or I know in real life). HAHAHA.
I was just telling one my dearest yesterday that I'm not sure if the lack of action on any of my "to do" lists are simply from laziness, or procrastination, or I'm choosing to live life in other ways by enjoying my kids and husband, making memories, keeping the downstairs clean - haha? Maybe a combo of all. I just figured I'd share something real and everyday - since most of the time, I blog things to perk me up I do accomplish, or the deep thoughts of my brain.... :) I figured picture frames looked a little better than mountains of REAL laundry or 'to be finished' Christmas gifts! *wink*
Happy Wednesday! You are not alone....Carpe Diem!!

Don't worry about the empty picture frames that have been hanging since the Summer. I have a collage of wedding photos and the 5x7 slot has been vacant for over 8 1/2 years, and it has been leaning against the wall in my new home for 2 1/2 years. Then there's the adorable pewter bunny frame in my youngest daughter's room. That has had the picture of the stranger that came in the frame sitting on her dresser for 4 years. She asks me all the time who that baby is. And then there are the picture frames that are filled and aren't hung because I can't figure out where I want them after 2 1/2 years of contemplating their location.
ReplyDeleteWhat does that first collage frame say by the way? I can't make out the first word or two.
Thanks Karen. I'm Glad I'm not alone! You reminded me that in Val's room, she still has frames with Lovely in them as a baby LOL! Go Mom!
ReplyDeleteThe collage frame says: "Together is a wonderful place to be." I'm so glad my sample pics are so glad to be together hehehe! But my family knows how to live that motto!
And yes Karen...HANGING them is hard. I never trust myself, so projects get pushed back and back. I need to get brave with color and placement!
Have a great Wed! Thanks for stopping by!
I'm going with this: notice that all the frames are sets of THREE! Your subconscience was telling you something - you'll fill them next year!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
