Sick Day

**This is about Monday but posting it cheers me up, because I didn't have a good ending to my day yesterday, and today it is all rainy and blah. The below at least chronicles the fun sick days. Yesterday, after a rough pre dinner time and bedtime - I went outside with a blanket and my lounge chair and looked up at the night sky, fell asleep, calmed down, recollected, and was completely alone with the gentle wind and crickets till 10pm. It was a needed refresher....and a story for later. For now, enjoy the below.**

I know this doesn't look like your typical sick day - but this was ours. Between a pinched back and muscle relaxers (Hubby), and still recovering from walking pneumonia (me), the Vitamin D benefits of the sun called us on Monday. Hubby even managed to toss a glider around for Lovely - though a bit stiff. He also brought us lunch....YUM!








Well, sometimes we were VERY tired.....











But the sun's ray's beckoned.....(even in my mismatched PJ's).

And yes, even feeling sick, I'm so grateful to be able to sun in my backyard on a Monday. Very. Grateful.










And when Lovely came home from school, she joined in (and challenged the strength of the muscle relaxers)












She helped Daddy "soar" to new heights of health

After piano, we came home and had a veggie casserole dinner outside.












Ok, yeah, I have shadows under the eyes and look tired, but really...the food, the weather, the people.....







I'll take this type of sickness ANY day.
