My Theme Song For The Coming Days...

Today we got mixed news in the prayer department of late. I wish I could be more "real" here about it, but I just can't...yet. I thank you all for the prayers. We should hear something definitive by next Friday in terms of our prayers. At this point, my prayers have changed a bit. I'm asking that prayers said for us are ones that ask that we simply stay within God's Will for us. It's time for us to simply ride the rollercoaster, not try to drive it.

I've had a favorite song I've loved that hasn't been playing as much on the radio, so I've almost forgotten it. When I heard it today I knew I wanted to share it and make it this week's theme song. When I went to YouTube it to share, I was shocked that not only is it a great song about waiting on the Lord, the song and video were for the move "Fireproof" (I knew it was used in the movie, but not written FOR the movie).  It has been amazing how so much of our situation has affected our marriage of late - either positive, or negative (hence the rollercoaster image). So, now I find this song VERY appropriate. It also reminds me of a past blog post where I confessed I have not been choosing joy as I wait on the Lord and instead just get by. This song reminds me to still run the race while waiting on God. I can't just shut down while I wait.

Maybe you need this song too.
