1. I've been keeping up with the laundry this week! I still need to fold, but least clothes are CLEAN and not stacking up. I never really thought homeschooling would get me so behind on household duties (my mom sure has noticed...lol). But, it feels good to do the best I can with it!
2. Our garage has become a storage unit again on my husband's side - instead of for parking. It really got cleaned up the last few days with Hubby. He can't park yet, but it is MUCH better! Soon, very soon, it will be conquered!
3. I made, or put together the Halloween costumes this year. I only really started this last year. It is really fun, but I need to break the procrastination habit. At least I accomplished something. It was much easier than what friends assumed, but it was sooo CUTE!!! So, I admit it, I'm excited! But, it was easy! I loved seeing our kids and neighbors have FUN!!! That's the best part!
How was your week? Tell me!

That sounds like a an awesome week to me! #1 and #2 huge successes! And #3 is just all around cool!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the household stuff! It will always be there, but the kids will grow up. You're creating great memories for them! And those costumes were just adorable...GREAT JOB!
ReplyDeleteAhh laundry! I have not kept up. My mother homeschooled the five of us growing up. The way she stayed on top of it was by throwing in a load first thing in the morning. She switched it to the dryer at lunch time and threw in a second load. Right before starting to cook dinner she pulled the load out of the dryer and we folded it and put it away. Then before she went to bed she pulled out the last load folded it and told us to put it away. I don't know why laundry is so hard to keep up with! Good for you for staying on top of it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week!
My success with laundry spikes every now and then. Good job and good luck with yours!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the Halloween costumes--I think it's so more fun doing it yourself!
