Small Sucesses - "Life Goes On" Edition

FaithButton

Well, it is already Thursday again. How does that happen? All week I plan on sitting down (as I did in the old days) to blog my feelings, my day, a daybook, a Wordless Wednesday, a Friday Five...and I never get back to it. I do love the Small successes - it boosts my week when I feel behind and helps me record life. So...away I go!!

1.  I've been making time for my kids. They light up my world - as you can see above. Even though we are on our first year of homeschooling and spend a LOT of time together, it is still hard to relax and love each other sometimes. Soaking in the moment makes all the difference!

2. I actually accomplished some major errands with all three in tow - filling up the shopping carts as you see above. Wait...how did I actually buy anything with the cart so full?  Did I even make it out of the parking lot??? Hmmm......let me get back to you on this.

3. Yesterday was a VERY rainy day - and before that I had finally caught up with my house (with the kids help) and sometimes it can be hard for me to let the girls pull everything out again. Well, today not only did I say "bring it" and get everything out...I joined in! I helped make a block city, towers, and just relished the mess! Life is short, and childhood is shorter!

Someone played so much they fell asleep on the floor.....

How was your week?

  2. I remember loading three into a cart! I like the 'car' carts for the oldest two (at the time) and the baby in the Bjorn! They are now 9,8 & 6 and they can all walk on their own and I can't believe it was much easier when they were younger. :)

  3. Yes, I can see how those little ones can light up your world...so beautiful. Shopping w/ all the kid in tow is a HUGE success in my book! Congrats! That cross on your wall is beautiful!
